Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. OK, first of all let me just say we did have an issue with shipping. The first one arrived and it had a blemish on the top. It had been hit at some point during delivery, so we contacted Wayfair and they were more than happy to send us another table. So we returned that table and another table arrived about five days later and everything was great with it so Wayfair itself is great. FedEx probably needs to be a little more careful. It’s really pretty looking dining set. The chairs came first and well packed then the table arrived 3 days later. It’s easy to assemble. I like the idea that I don’t have to take out the leaf extension , just fold and it goes underneath the table. I had a little problem when i opened the box (table) the hardware box was opened, bolts and washers are everywhere. This is a great dining set - very reasonably priced, good for a slightly smaller space (with the leaf, gives you some options). Relatively easy to assemble - the chairs are the hardest part (since you have to attach both the seat itself and the legs, versus just the legs for the table/bench). Finish is great, really sturdy set. Had 2 overall concerns - 1, the benches DO NOT fit under the table, even when the leaf is out. That's a little odd to me, but fine. 2, one of the chair legs had 1 hole that was not properly sized and was difficult to get the screw in (that does happen sometimes with manufactured pieces). It was only the one leg on one item, and we were able to make it work with a bit of elbow grease and force of will. All in all, this is a great set for a reasonable price.. Kristin. Bronx, NY.
