Great way to keep up with the weather. I purchased the Wireless Wifi Professional Weather Station with Remote Monitoring by La Crosse Technology. It was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. I love the large lighted digital screen. It is easy to read at just a glance. In one look you can see up to date weather information including the current temperature and humidity both indoors and outside, along with a feels like temperature for outdoor. You can see current wind speed as well as top wind speed in the past hour and 24 hours, and the barometric pressure in your area too. The display also includes the Day of the week, Time, and Month Day and Year. High/Low temperatures are also displayed above the cute graphic of the days weather. I did add a rain guage sensor which was super simple to connect. As far as the price…Wayfair had the best price I have seen. It’s a Great price for this item. I definitely would recommend the Lacrosse weather station. My only issue is with connecting it to the internet. I have not been able to get it to connect. The rich, wood framed classic weather station measures barometric pressure (liquid). The antique weather station displays an air of quality and accuracy one would expect with a fine, handcrafted weather instrument from Ambient Weather. The concept that 'decreasing atmospheric pressure predicts stormy weather' was postulated by Lucien Video and it's the basis for a weather prediction device called a storm glass or liquid barometer. It consists of a glass container with a sealed body, half-filled with water. A narrow spout connects to the body below the water level and rises above the water level, where it is open to the atmosphere. When the air pressure is lower than it was at the time the body was sealed, the water level in the spout will rise above the water level in the body and when the air pressure is higher, the water level in the spout will drop below the water level in the body. Also includes a comfort meter, which measures temperature and humidity, and a comfort zone indicator.
