I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. I bought this fold out couch for my upstairs bonus room when company comes. I love the mattress and it’s pretty comfortable. Putting it together was a little bit of a challenge, but I did it by myself. The one thing I would complain about is that it says it can be pushed up against the wall as a couch and fall down without hitting the wall, but it did scratch my wall so you have to have it out a couple inches. This is perfect for my needs, I just wanted something that looked nice but also was functional. The color is a very nice gray and it fits the small space I had. It is hard but not that uncomfortable. This sofa looks great in my home office. And it’s gonna be the perfect guest bed for visitors as it folds out to basically a full-size bed and it’s actually pretty comfortable to sit on. Some of the other reviews didn’t rate the comfort very high but I think it’s great. And it looks wonderful. I’m not using the swivel table as you can see from the picture. And I’m covering up the cupholders just because they’re a stainless metal and that looks a little bit not the vibe of that room. But basically I’m very happy with this.
