This is much prettier in person. The finish doesn't show as well in the pictures but looks like an antique silver leaf finish. Very nice details with the flower medallion on the canopy and petals on the "candle" bases. One issue with one of the shades coming in damaged from the manufacturer but Wayfair is replacing that shade. Very simple process to go through to get that done as well.. Troy. Florida. We installed this fixture in our master bedroom with 8-foot ceilings, and overall we are extremely happy with the result. Out of the box, even using the included 6-inch downrod, the fixture hung a little lower than we wanted. To create more of a semi-flush mount look, I removed the supplied rods and purchased a 2.5-inch, 1/8 IPS lamp nipple from a local hardware store (see photo). I used it to connect the upper and lower portions of the fixture, and it worked perfectly. The finished installation looks custom and fits the room much better. The light is a perfect complement to our décor and has completely transformed the space. Even with our popcorn ceiling, the room looks dramatically more updated and elegant compared to the outdated ceiling fan it replaced. If you have 8-foot ceilings and are concerned about the hanging height, there is an easy solution. We couldn't be happier with the final result.. Richard. Loveland, OH. Tue Jun 02 2026

I purchased this light for our beach home and I cannot wait to get over there to get it hung up. It came packaged carefully and nothing appears damaged. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the gold color but is a very pretty color. It came with a glove for hanging the shells but I’ll be honest, I am a little nervous about that part. There are a lot of them to hang and they seem delicate. They did include some extras just in case any break. I feel this is going to add just the correct amount of elegance our dining room needs.
