Owners can simply crank open their umbrella and push a button to tilt canopy towards the sun.

Umbrella arrived on schedule. Seems sturdy enough but will need to wait to check it out over time. I am using it on a small table so the size is perfect. The color is orange of the Tuscan Sun is fairly intense.. Jeanne. West Roxbury, MA. Sat Jun 11 2016

A built-in vent at the top promotes airflow to help with stability on breezier days. Opening the umbrella is simple with the manual crank lift. It also features an auto-tilt mechanism that allows you to adjust the angle of the canopy as the sun moves.

This is by far the best market umbrella I’ve ever owned. I opted for the sunbrella fabric as it’s heavier than the other fabrics I’ve owned in the past (and did not last as long). This umbrella has a bronze colored pole and is operated by a hand crank although it does have an auto tilt feature. The auto tilt is amazing as you slowly keep cranking after the umbrella is fully extended, the auto tilt engages and the umbrella will automatically tilt. Once you start cranking in the opposite direction to close the umbrella, the auto tilt disengages and the umbrella stands upright so you can finish closing it. I bought the umbrella in the blue frost color and after two years the fabric has not faded and the crank and auto tilt, still work perfectly.. Holly. Afton, VA. Mon Jun 01 2026

Keep cool as you kick back on the deck with this 9' market umbrella. Crafted from aluminum, its pole features a crank lift so you can open and close the canopy with ease. The modern design not only adds a touch of elegance but also blends seamlessly with your outdoor surroundings. Crafted with durability in mind, it withstands the elements, ensuring long-term enjoyment. The comfortable seating allows you to unwind and soak up the sun or enjoy a peaceful moment with a good book. It's a perfect spot for creating memories and enjoying the outdoors to the fullest.

How lovely! I got a great Labor Day deal on these. Much less expensive than getting a chair that comes with cushions. I ordered cushions from Meridian (third set from them-highly recommend) and the total was less. They do have parts that need to be assembled which will decrease longevity as compared to fully welded units. The price reflects this. The fully welded may cost up to 1500 or more per chair. I can update after a year as to the durability. I can already say much of the screws and such will need replaced which is fine since the aluminum should not rust. The directions are different as the diagram and written down not match. The diagram was the correct version. With some patience and organization of the parts this is not terribly difficult. I even put the first one together by myself. Impressively, not parts were missing and I ordered 4. So far I believe this was a good value purchase. Update: All of the hardware rusts almost immediately. This can be replaced at the local hardware store with proper galvanized screws and such. Just kind of a shame the chair itself is quite nice but then it is sold with garbage hardware.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 07 2026

Between the wind, rain, and scorching sunlight, there are plenty of things that can degrade your shade umbrella’s quality and leave you without protection during the hottest months of the year. If you're looking for a market patio umbrella that can withstand the elements, you'll want one with fiberglass ribs and an aluminum pole. The fiberglass ribs are flexible, so they will not snap as easily on windy days. Meanwhile, the aluminum center pole is both lightweight and strong to provide the support to hold aloft the canopy and its eight ribs. When in use, the umbrella’s ribs can be eased open by turning the crank centered on the pole, and the collar tilt mechanism lets you tilt the canopy for angled shade. Plus, the beautiful fabric is composed of high-performance synthetic olefin fibers that have been solution-dyed for longevity to be strong, durable, and resistant to stains, mildew, and fading. With the protective features this umbrella offers, you can relax with the knowledge that this umbrella will steadfastly shade you and your patio during the blistering heat of summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This California patio umbrella is great! I love the overall look of it, very classic. It was easy to setup and use. At the heart of any market patio umbrella lies its frame, and this particular shade fixture features a sturdy frame crafted from durable aluminum and reinforced with eight flexible fiberglass ribs. The aluminum center pole helps stabilize the umbrella so that it remains upright while in use, whereas the fiberglass ribs adds some additional wind resistance to prevent wayward gusts knocking over your shade. Plus, the beautiful fabric is composed of Sunbrella’s solution dyed acrylic fibers that are known for its durability and resistance to mold, mildew, staining and fading, ensuring that it can withstand the elements better than other fabrics. Whether used as a standalone fixture or paired with your existing patio furniture set, this market patio umbrella is sure to be your go-to solution for keeping cool all summer long.

Fast Delivery on this top quality umbrella. I like these crank-tilt umbrellas. The last one we had, that was replaced by this one, worked for over 15 years. The only reason we replaced it is that the cord which is used eventually fails and they are impossible to replace without completely disassembling the center pole with no way to put it back together unless you have the press pins and a tool to replace them. So, in 15 years I will have to replace this one again I suppose. The Sunbrella fabric was in great condition on the old one, only because we covered the umbrella with a high-quality umbrella cover.... the cover is the key to the longevity. If you invest this much in an umbrella then you should definitely cover it!. Andrew. Poway, CA. Tue Jul 29 2025

This 10' market umbrella showcases a sleek, modern look that feels right at home on your backyard patio or deck. The pole is made from powder-coated aluminum, and it connects to eight separate ribs and a 3-tiered octagonal canopy that's resistant to water, weather, wind, and UV rays. This polyester canopy comes in a solid hue to match styles ranging from traditional to industrial. It opens with a crank lift, and it features a manual tilt so you're able to find just the right angle. No stand is included, so we recommend getting a weighted one to keep your umbrella upright.

Perfect patio umbrella. There's very minimal set up that anyone could do. It's on a tall pole, sturdy, holds up well to a bit of wind. Color is vibrant. I bought two.. Alexandria. Rochester, NY. Fri Jul 03 2026
