Low voltage plug-in class 2 electronic transformer designed to be used as a plug-and-play style transformer. Contains an on/off toggle switch at the base and a 72" detachable cord. Models that end in -T include a lead cable for InvisiLED® tape light systems, and models that end in -S include a lead wire for line and Straight Edge® under cabinet lighting systems. Inherently protected and power limited, protecting the lighting system from both normal and abnormal short circuits. Built-in auto reset, soft start, short, and overload circuit protection features. The soft-start delayed start feature extends lamp life by delaying the abrupt inrush current to the lamp.

Class 2 power supplies are intrinsically safer because they are categorized to allow no greater than 5 amps of current to be drawn on each compartment. The enclosure cover is easy to remove. The power supply has knockouts on three sides with clips for line voltage wiring. Secondary wiring for class 2 power supplies does not require conduit-sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. This power supply has a low minimum load requirement of 6W to allow the use of LED products. May be dimmed using a TRIAC or electronic low-voltage dimmer.

These look better than the average thin wafer lights we install. I thought when I ordered them they would change colors, but my electrician said they don't.
