The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. I would not pay full price for this table based on the finish.. Krystal. Port Ewen, NY. Sun Jul 26 2026

After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Came out box with scratch. I had seen reviews about the drawers not closing and such. The top drawer does have difficulty closing. It goes about halfway in and stops,I am not wanting to push it hard. Hopefully we can get it working.. Crystal. Princeton Wv. Fri Sep 11 2026

Solid wooden desk and it was relatively easy to put together. The wood is unfinished and you have to be careful when handling it so you don’t get splinters in your fingers. Unfortunately it came with a bit of chipped wood on one corner but it’s not much visible. For me the downside was that it has a VERY strong smell and made me cough so had to leave the door and windows open for air to flow. Other than that, it’s a good looking desk, and seems sturdy..
