The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026

Exceeded expectations. Very well built, and sturdy. I did go with the “cherry”, I was worried about getting anything cherry, because I don’t like that red undertone, however, it’s actually more of a very dark brown. It goes great with our floors. The assembly instructions were definitely built for someone who needs someone holding their hand to build it lol I’m 42 years old, and built this alone. Normally my husband builds everything, but I wanted to surprise him. I was able to build this in 1h15m by myself. The only thing I really did was watch a three minute video on the correct way to use a cam lock. Other than that, the instructions were very straightforward, and it even came with extra parts. My only suggestion is to clean out the cam lock holes before putting them in. Some of the holes had some wood debris. I just used the flathead to gently clean them up.. Alana. Spring, TX. I really like this bookcase. If fits perfectly in the space I had for it in my office. It’s very well made and heavy duty. I’ve never had anything made out of rubber wood before when I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It has a very prominent grain similar to oak. I used a dark walnut stain on it and then finished it with an orange oil product. I highly recommend it. Great value for the price.. Bev. Colorado. Sat Jun 27 2026

Came beautifully packaged! No dings. The color is slightly more orangey than I wanted but I’m okay with that. I love that there is no assembly, and the wood is fairly good quality for the price. Just two negatives - I wish I could remove the nubs (that join the units together) on the top unit, and the company sticker on the unit was a bear to get off - I don’t know why companies put them on the unit like that! A least make them easier to remove. Took me 25 minutes with goo be gone to scrape it off. I left the bottom one on that can’t be seen bc I don’t feel like scraping another one off!. Lisa. US.
