I have waffled on this between four and five stars. The chair is every bit as weighty and good looking as the pictures show. Not quite a chesterfield but chesterfield-like. The "faux leather" certainly feels as you would expect pleather to feel. I'm a fan of full grain leather typically but given the option of this versus a 2k+ chair of real leather it is a good compromise. I will say the following though as a "con" of sorts. There are a few comments here about the pitch of the seat. As an amateur woodworker I mistook this as not understanding that a proper seat needs pitch to be comfortable. The basic pitch (with the back locked) is a bit more than I thought it would be and I can see how a smaller person may not like it. This is not a bad chair in a pinch. Quality is good, however the back flap to cover the interior of the chair should have Velcro running down the sides instead of just the bottom to fully cover the back. The chair is comfortable and even as there is a slant to the backrest, it could have been slanted more so you’re not sitting up so straight. Again I would recommend it in a pinch.
