So… I got the more expensive “gold leg” and wood version and I’d say don’t do it. As you can see in photo the gold foot arent metal pieces they are just painted on and the lines aren’t even straight… looks spray-painted, not worth an extra 30 dollars for that- just get plain wood version… the lamp itself I’m happy with it’s pretty sturdy and looks good in our mid century modern style room. This lamp looks great in my living room! The reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I had to wedge a small piece of paper under the shade to get it to sit straight.
