Amazing product. Very good quality and really worked for me and the purpose I wanted it. The only thing is that I decided to not add the sides pieces since I didn’t need it and wanted this to be in the middle of the kitchen. We ordered the rolling island in white with stainless top. It was a bear to assemble, but we got it done. I chose this one because the wheels are hidden. It’s a lovely cabinet from the front and adds storage in the kitchen. It moves easily, sometimes too easily. The things I’m not crazy about are the back of the cabinet has panels that are secured with plastic tabs and screws. If you’re using this as an island, just know that they will show. The top is thin metal that scratches easily and shows EVERY handfingerprint. The top MUST have a towel etc under a cutting board to protect it. This is a nice piece and looks like the picture. However, be warned, this is a very complicated DIY assembly. I have lots of experience in that area and generally enjoy assembly and this took me 4-5 hours to assemble. I really like the size of this island—it fits perfectly in my kitchen and is exactly what I needed to add workspace and storage. It was inexpensive, so I was not expecting high-end materials, but the countertop has a very shiny, plastic-like coating and looks more synthetic than the “natural” finish shown online. The biggest disappointment is the drawers. The description of the drawers as “deep” is misleading, since they are only 13 inches deep and leave about 9 inches of unused space behind them. The drawer slides also catch and do not open smoothly, despite the advertised “smooth-glide” hardware. Properly fitting, smoothly operating drawers would have made this a five-star product. This ended up being perfect for the space and a good deal for the price. Comes in two heavy boxes, but I had a hand truck to move them from the sidewalk to the kitchen, so I could by manage myself. I also put it together by myself, and it took a hot minute (multiple hours....hard to measure because I took mental breaks), but it wasn't hard. The pieces were all there, it wasn't confusing, just predictably tedious. Worth every second to gain the extra drawers and cabinet space.
