The bed frame is lovely. I put it together by myself in about 2.5 hours. I did add extra slats because I worried that the spacing between them would be too far apart for my mattress. The color is SLIGHTLY warmer than pictured as others have said but it’s not like WARM. It’s been study so far and we love how it looks in our room. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. The bed is very solid and instructions are easy to follow. I will say though, it was a 2 person job for us and we are well versed in putting furniture together. We also needed a heavy mallet and a lot of patience while we pounded the back support together.
