Item has been backordered so I just received while on vacation; therefore, I have not had an opportunity to use it yet. Appears to be well constructed, has good weight to it for cooking, and stylish design. I thought it had a lid (had looked at several before buying), but due to size can improvise with a lid from my cookware. As another reviewer mentioned, it did not come with instructions as to whether it requires being seasoned or how to do so. Will update once we actually prepare a meal.. Borncajun. Crestwood, KY. I'm delighted with my new stockpot set, (having waited to the age of 55 to own such a luxury, I researched for a few weeks before deciding on BergHOFF Dina) We had a neighborhood soup party and I also found them perfect for making demi glaze. I love that the diameter fits on each burner without extending over neighboring burners so that every spot on the stovetop can be utilized. Great even cooking...no hot spots, even when soups remain over flame for 12+ hours.....demi glaze, more than 24 hours.......AND they look beautiful. Please consider making a 15-16 quart. I'll purchase that one, too :). Erin's Busy Kitchen. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mon Feb 23 2026

Real stir-fry needs heat a nonstick pan cannot survive. The Alva Forest 12-Inch Carbon Steel Wok takes it — blue carbon steel heats hard and fast, recovers instantly when cold vegetables hit the surface, and delivers the concentrated sear that gives a stir-fry its character instead of leaving it wet. It arrives pre-seasoned and ready to cook, and the patina deepens with every use into a naturally nonstick surface, with no synthetic coating to scratch or replace. The deep sloping sides let you toss properly, and the acacia wood handle stays cool. Works on gas, electric, ceramic, glass and induction. The wood handle is not oven safe, so keep this wok on the cooktop. Hand wash, dry immediately and wipe with a little oil. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE or PFOA. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.

I love this wok! It’s light weight and well made. It’s perfect for medium sized meals. The food cooks perfectly and doesn’t stick to the wok. I love that it’s easy to clean and use. It’s definitely worth it!. Denise. South Jordan, UT. Tue Apr 11 2023

With the Black Cube™ Quick Release, this annoyance is a thing of the past, thanks to an award-winning cooking surface aptly named Quick Release: It features a stainless steel pattern of small pixels that are raised above a recessed layer of high-quality PFOA-free nonstick coating, thereby combining the benefits of stainless steel and nonstick in one revolutionary cooking surface. Black Cube™ Quick Release sears, braises, and browns meat exceptionally well, like a stainless steel pan, and it perfectly sautés, fries, or stir-fries seafood and vegetables. Or make a delicious stew knowing that the heat will be consistent. Designed to offer the best in durability and performance, feel free to use metal utensils! Yes, we mean it. The pan feels good in the hand and it is large enough to hold a lot but not too big to be unwieldy. It features an ergonomic stay-cool handle and a helper handle. After you cooked your delicious meal, clean-up is quick and mess-free – just the way you know it from a nonstick pan. Or simply place it in your dishwasher! This innovative pan is safe to use on any stovetop (including induction) and can even be placed in the oven at up to 500° F. Black Cube™ Quick Release is a 3-ply construction of stainless/aluminum/stainless. There is so much versatility with this pan that the possibilities are endless. Don't forget to get the matching-sized lid, which gives even more cooking options. Make cooking delicious meals easier than ever with this exciting cookware innovation.

I used my brother's Black Cube wok and loved the way the food didn't stick, it cooked evenly, and we could use his metal utensils to stir up the ingredients. I had to get one for myself. I wish it came with a lid and maybe it does now but that feature was not available when I ordered mine. Great addition to my culinary collection.. Catherine. Claremont, CA. Thu Feb 22 2018
