My husband put this together in about an hour or so. Directions were clear and straightforward. The color is a creamy white vanilla so I am pleased with that. There were a few nicks scratches on the back top of frame with a few paint splotches. You can’t see it and I’ll touch it up at some point. Beloved by college students, teens, and adults alike, futons are a fan favorite for a reason – Offer style, seating, and a spot to snooze without taking up prime real estate. Make the most of your square footage with this versatile futon. Crafted from hardwood, its frame features a clean-lined silhouette and a neutral finish for understated appeal. The mattress is filled with innerspring coils and upholstered with polyester fabric for an approachable and inviting look.

This futon is exactly as shown and is a great quality piece for the price. All the pieces were there in individually marked cardboard boxes and the boards were wrapped to keep them from being scuffed. Everything was well marked, along with clear illustrations. It was quite impressive compared to many products these days that you have to assemble.I like that the support boards were pre-strapped together. It took my husband and son about an hour, no issues. The (full)size is great for our small spare room. The mattress is very firm but thick is as noted by others and just the color it is shown. It sits slightly higher than the back of the frame but thats so that it will fit the entire surface when it is converted to a bed- and it doesnt affect the feeling when sitting on it. The one slightly negative thing I might mention is that this isnt a couch I would sit on for long periods as the back/bottom angle is noticeable if you have lower back issues. Others probably wouldnt be bothered by it. All in all, we are very pleased with this futon.. Sandy. Blackfoot, ID. Sat Sep 12 2026

The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it. The slats have around 7" between them. I had a hard time finding this information when I was looking at the description.. Judy. Whiteland, IN. Mon Jun 29 2026
