Steelcase Soft Wood Stool

This office chair features a solid wood frame that brings a mid-century modern look to your main bedroom or workspace. It's crafted with a high-back design and a polyester-upholstered seat, providing a structured profile for your daily tasks. Foam filling in the seat and back adds a layer of cushioning, while the synchro-tilt and manual tilt mechanisms allow you to find a comfortable position. The swivel seat and rolling casters make it easy to move across hardwood or tile floors. Plus, it features an adjustable seat height to best fit your desk.

I’ve had the chair for awhile and I love it. It’s lasted so far and has endured a few cat hairballs and cleaned up well. I did change the wheels for rubber ones as soon as it was delivered, so I can’t speak on the wheels it comes with. It’s cat approved and worth the buy!. Remington S. Dfw Area. Wed Oct 07 2026

This tall drafting chair helps to improve the quality of your work while providing extra comfort and relaxation. The frame is crafted from high-quality plastic with a thickly padded seat that's wrapped in cotton and a mesh-lined back for added breathability. A black-finished base rests on five hooded caster wheels that can travel over just about any floor type. And a foot ring is included, adjustable to suit your desired height. Flip-up armrests, a lumbar support, and swivel and tilting functions make sure this office chair suits you and your space.

well the first thing that comes to mind is the speed of shipping that came very fast. the chair itself is awesome. I just could not find a comfortable counter height chair for my counter height kitchen table so I was thinking out of the box. I assembled it in probably a half hour to 40 minutes without any problems. I especially like the longer handle allen wrench with the bar at the end of it that made screwing in the screws a lot easier than a little finger allen wrench that you usually get with stuff. all the parts were there all the screws lined up without difficulty. chair is basic with nice coloring and ample padding on chair seat and arms. I am able to reach around while sitting to adjust the lumbar support. this chair has a rocking mechanism which I was not aware of but I havent dialed that in just yet but there is a knob to adjust the rocking mechanism. the height adjustment is pretty straightforward you have to not be sitting on the seat to raise it up. the seat is wide enough so I can sit with one leg under in a cross leg position and that was a big plus for me. the armrests lift up fully out of the way. I have lvp vinyl in the kitchen so these caster wheels slide across very easily. the foot rest is also what I had to consider and this one is perfect. all in all this is a perfect chair for my counter height kitchen table and it supports my wide load without difficulty.. Organic curves + negative space. Crafted from solid suar wood with a polished finish, this accent stool’s smooth, undulating form showcases its rich natural wood grain. It doubles as an end table, and triples as an eye-catching sculptural focal point. Solid wood will continue to move with temperature and humidity changes, which can result in cracks and uneven surfaces, adding to its authenticity and character.

Love this piece! The wood surface is so smooth and dreamy for this decorative stool.. Kellee. Sun Aug 23 2026

Ergonomic PU leather drafting chair featuring a walnut wood back. The seat height (22"–30") and foot ring (3.5"–8") adjust independently, providing full flexibility for standing desks, drafting tables, or tall counters. Its PU leather seat and backrest deliver soft, supportive comfort, while the walnut veneer back panel adds a refined mid-century modern look. With an armless design for freedom of movement and a durable rolling base, this chair is ideal for designers, architects, and professionals who demand both function and aesthetics.

3.75 stars ... Nice chair BUT The seat and back are NOT adjustable, so you are encouraged to keep your posture correct (you're welcome, Mother) to avoid back fatigue. THIS IS NOT an all-day sitting chair. Also, the footrest ring is adjustable for height--nice for we petite ones--but the ring is thin/small so not comfortable for bare feet (and I don't wear shoes in the house). ALSO, the "ivory" faux leather is more of a putty color. Important if that matters to you. Assembly was easy, done in about 15 minutes alone. Overall, for the price, the wood-toned back and bottom, and a chair that you would use at your standing/drafting desk during those moments you want to stop standing, it's fine. I'm not sending it back. But I'm also not giving it 5 stars for reasons stated.. Audrey H. New York City. Sat Oct 10 2026

Love, love, love this chair! Great quality, easy to assemble, and it oozes mid century awesomeness! Super comfortable, too. I bought it to replace an office chair that looked great but sat terribly. This chair is perfectly designed for comfort. Hits me about mid back, which works great for support. Cradles beautifully, and the material isn't slick. Sounds weird, but important for a chair. My previous chair was so slick I felt like I was constantly being ejected onto my office floor. The wheels are high quality, like something you'd find on a high-end set of roller blades. Previous chair had those awful plastic things. For the price on this one, you get a bangin' chair. Very happy I purchased!. Darren. Cincinnati, OH. Tue Sep 22 2026
