I really like this dresser and think it’s a nice piece for the price. I gave it 4 stars because several of the pieces had minor damage when they arrived. Since everything was packaged very well, I assume the damage occurred before it was packed. I’ve included as many photos as I was able to upload of the damaged pieces for reference. Fortunately, once the dresser was assembled, the minor damage was not visible at all. There were quite a few pieces to assemble, so it took a while, but the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Once assembled, it looks beautiful and is exactly what I was hoping for. Lots of pieces and parts, give yourself room for the build, and use furniture scooties (those discs you put beneath furniture feet to move stuff around) because this will be too big and top heavy to lift safely. 3. Hand tightening the screws...ALL the screws...is carpal-tunnel waiting to happen. BUT, it's easy to overtighten and ruin the hole. If you need to store more clothing etc. this fourteen drawer master chest is for you. It features a handsome bluff grey finish on oak veneers and has a stately presences. Side pilasters, bracket feet and a thick top provide architectural elements. Drawers have dovetail construction for durability and glide on metal ball bearing side guides. There are felt bottoms in the top drawers, and cedar in the bottom ones. Antique pewter finished hardware adds the perfect complement.
