We just moved into a brand new house so I'm needing a LOT of furniture some of which comes from Wayfair. Putting together this desk definitely needs two people. It took approximately 6 hours and the instructions were pretty clear, all in English. If you don't mind the drawers feeling like cardboard, it's a great deal. It is sturdy and practical. Cute desk. Took several hours to assemble. I wish the instruction would have descriptions rather than just pictures. Don't use power tools. The hardest part to follow was the railings for the drawers, I got some of them backwards and had to fix when I got to the drawer assembly. Well built but not quite up to Michael's standards. It is not the Michael's oak finish. It is lighter. I already own 14 Michael's Mission oak , quarter sawn furniture pieces which are much deeper/richer in color. This will serve its purpose though. It was well packed and protected. Our solid pine cottage series desk can be used as either a desk or a vanity. The solid wood turnings and drawer front treatment emphasize the quality. Drawers are constructed using real dovetail joints and wooden drawer runners.

This is nice and lightweight but still sturdy. I love that it is solid wood. You can assemble with drawers on whichever side you choose; it gives instructions for both ways.
