This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. It's in my daughters room so it takes a beating and is holding up.. Holly. Ferrisburgh, VT. Thu Apr 16 2026

We bought this bed for our guest room. I think the bed has a really pretty design and it’s sturdy. It took my husband some time to assemble it, but the process was easy and not aggravating at all. I like the height of the frame - holds the mattress up a good height from the floor. The only potential drawback I’ve noticed is there is a lip inside the foot of the bed that makes it a little hard to tuck the bedsheets in at the bottom if you like to do that when you make the bed.. Sprung slats and a center support bar mean no box spring is needed. Its low profile suits both master bedrooms and compact apartments.

Great quality and very sturdy bed! We have an 11.5-inch mattress, and the lift-up mechanism works really well. It is smooth and surprisingly easy to lift, even with the mattress on it. The headboard feels solid and well made. I especially love the white oak color—it looks beautiful and matches our tongue-and-groove wood ceiling perfectly. My 19-year-old son assembled the entire bed by himself. He said the assembly wasn’t particularly easy, but he was able to complete it without any help. We purchased another bed from Wayfair around the same time, and the difference in quality is significant. This bed is definitely much better quality and feels like it will last. Very happy with our purchase!. Rebecca. CA. Sun Sep 06 2026
