Absolutely love this table! It has exceeded my expectations. I love the color, top is grey/brown. Looks more brown in our kitchen. It is very heavy duty, the wood used seems durable and of high quality. The table was superr heavy. We decided to buy a bench to go with it and leave the leaf in all the time. Love this table! It is very dark brown... think espresso brown. Definitely not gray or ashy in color. But I love it! The inserts to expand the table go in and out very easily. The only downside is that the inserts do not store under the table, but would need to be stored in a closet when not in use. I expect to always keep them in though.. Heather. Kintnersville, PA.
