Part A consists of a mixture of epoxy resin, fine-grain siliceous aggregates, pigments and specific organic additives. Component B consists of an innovative organic catalyst. I applied the Foundation Armor AX25 to my concrete driveway this fall, and the final result is outstanding. For prep, I made sure to thoroughly degrease the entire surface first. I applied two coats using a 3/8" solvent-resistant nap roller, and it laid down perfectly with absolutely no lap marks—which is usually my biggest concern with rolled clear coats. Coverage was right on the money. It took about four gallons to get two solid coats down on a double driveway plus a 20x3 foot walkway. I rolled it out on a day when it hit 20°C (68°F), dropping down to about 7°C (45°F) overnight, and it cured beautifully without any issues. I also mixed in SharkGrip for traction. Slip-resistant additives can sometimes dull a clear coat or cause it to streak, but the AX25 maintained a brilliant, high-gloss wet look even with the aggregate mixed in. Used this WL550 sealer on a powerwashed 20+ year old patio. This product did a good job reviving some color without the fake looking shine of sealers with glossy finishes. I wouldn't call it a 100% "wet look' when done -- would have preferred a little darker -- but given the age of the patio, the results were pretty good. I used about 2 1/3 gallons to cover 365 sq ft using a pump sprayer. Product had a strong odor, but it dissipated soon after the job.
