I bought this flat file to integrate into my new kitchen island that I was designing. I love the idea of a single layer of utensils lined up in the drawer. The unit is sturdy and well made. I did switch out the handles to give more of a custom look! So excited to use this when my kitchen is completed!. Aimee. Chicago. Mon Nov 18 2024

These File Bases are designed to go with the Ten Drawer Steel Flat File

Perfect for my map drawers! The fit is great and the height makes them much more usable. I would have rated 5 stars, had I not had to do some repair work for damage that occurred in shipping.. Adriana. Mon Mar 25 2024

This modular metal storage cabinet flips the script with a modular design that fits your space and your style. Built from tough galvanized steel and finished with a smooth, modern paint job, it’s as practical as it is eye-catching. The best part? You’re in control. Mix and match the layout by removing or rearranging the shelves and panels—create open sections to display your favorite pieces or keep things hidden behind closed doors. Whether you're storing spices in the kitchen, organizing office supplies, or adding character to your living space, this cabinet is ready to adapt.

This is super solid and feels very high quality. We paid the extra 100 to have the wayfair professionals assemble the piece and it was so worth it. It took about 2.5 hours for assembly in total.. Alyssa. Sat Sep 26 2026

Upgrade your home and office workspace with this sleek fully assembled 2-drawer rolling metal file cabinet, requiring only caster installation for instant use. Featuring waterproof moisture-proof metal surface for effortless daily cleaning, this formaldehyde-free cabinet supports 100lbs per drawer and 150lbs top load with long-term deform-free stability. Built with anti-tipping casters and secure lock, it fits standard files and serves as a sturdy small printer stand for diverse office storage scenarios.

If a file cabinet can be considered "pretty", this is it. I have the white one and it's attractive as well as functional. Both of my demands for a file cabinet are met with this one: It’s hard to tip over, and is mobile. Through the years I've had several tipping accidents, and the agony is real. Files are dumped out and damaged. This one has a small wheel on the front that keeps it from tipping, a feature that's really important around kids. The mobility is deeply appreciated too. To take the picture, I rolled the cabinet into the living room where I could photo more than one side. But the file cabinet actually lives in the music room and holds pounds and pounds of music books.. Janice. Durant, OK. Sun Oct 11 2026

I really love my file cabinet. The height is perfect, it's sturdy and well made and tge drawers are very deep and spacious to store files ir whatever you want to secure inside. It was easy to assemble and it arrived on time and well packed in a box to secure it. It was not damaged and I'm happy that I can place my printer on top of the file cabinet so everything is accessible within my reach while working in my office space setup at home. Amazing quality, sturdy, exactly like pictures matches the description. HOWEVER.. DO NOT plan on starting this on a day when you are already stressed out, tired, its late at night, or you are short on time. I was in tears at one point and it took me a total of 8 hours to build..the instructions made the entire thing like a puzzle. None of the parts are labeled in the boxes there are no paper instructions . I used the assembly instructions from the order on the wayfair app. They really could use better instructions but after the mental torture of building it, i am so happy i didnt give up I’m happy with my purchase!!. This has been the perfect little cabinet . It fits right under my sofa table, barely noticeable that it is a file cabinet. I am obsessed with these lockers!! I never knew (silly me) that you could order lockers just to like have in your house! I ordered these for my son. He’s obsessed with basketball so we did a whole basketball themed room for Christmas. They’re like 200 pounds though so they have not been taken upstairs to his room yet. Only gave 4 starts instead of five because one of the latches gets stuck and doesn’t automatically latch shut like it should.. Victoria. Clinton, IL. Fri Jan 17 2025

Arrived on time. Lots of assembly! Plenty of storage space.. Elaine. Prescott, AZ. Mon Sep 14 2026

The simplistic, functionally accommodating design is ideal for making work life a little easier. With perfectly placed label holders and chrome drawer handles, it makes for an intelligent purchase! After all, it makes cents to look for value. And ain't that a pretty penny!? These flat files are an economical solution for all non-archival storage needs.

I ordered two of these flat flies. They were just as described, although one of the files was dented when it arrived. The dent does not interfere with the functionality of the drawers, so I decided not to return it since my one other return to Wayfair was time consuming and difficult. Generally speaking, I'm happy with the item.. Judith. Philadelphia, PA. Sat Dec 14 2024

We refer to our flat files cabinet as the "big picture files.". In a previous life I had the occasion to look at many large maps found at several near-by college libraries with flat filing systems. I do large format photo printing (30 by 40 inch). I saw that Wayfair offered such map filing cabinets at competitive pricing. With a carpenter we built-in the flat file to support my need for very large photograph storage. The file is perfect. Thank you Wayfair for carrying this equipment.. Robert. San Antonio. I took a chance and ordered an open box for this item. It was package like a new one, however, after unpacking everything and proceeding into the assembly, I found that the plastic piece inside kne of the legs, to receive the caster/wheel was broken and pushed down inside the leg tube and not operable. Since I had it completely unpacked and partly assembled, I decide to try a fix. It was obviously broken. I hade to pry/pull the plastic part up and out. It came out in two pieces, should be one. I tried to glue the pieces together and re-installing. Now it has a loose fit but I was able to get the shaft of the caster wheel in. It is loose but appears to be working. Not at all sure if it will hold up when I get the cart loaded up? I believe this was a return and wasn’t inspected properly or they would have caught this broken critical part. I would like Wayfair or the manufacture to send me a new plastic piece that is inside the leg tube so that I can properly assemble the caster/wheel into the leg.. Rex. NC. Mon Dec 19 2022
