Beautiful Chandelier—But I Would Definitely Change the Gold Finish I’m giving this chandelier five stars because the end result is absolutely stunning, but there is one major caveat. We wanted a large, modern, all-crystal chandelier for our bathroom and had difficulty finding anything this size without spending several thousand dollars. The crystals on this light are gorgeous, and it makes a beautiful statement. We initially hired an electrician and a helper to install it on our 15-foot barrel ceiling. Despite the height and the large number of crystals, they had no trouble assembling or hanging it, and the entire installation took about 2½ hours. The problem was the gold finish. Once it was hanging, my husband and I both thought the gold looked very cheap and really took away from an otherwise beautiful chandelier. Unfortunately, our electrician had already thrown away the box, so returning it wasn’t an option. We ended up removing every crystal, taking the chandelier back down, and painting the fixture with a champagne-bronze metallic paint. We then rehung it and replaced all the crystals ourselves. What a difference! The new finish completely elevated the chandelier. It now looks elegant, expensive, and comparable to fixtures in our home that cost several thousand dollars. We absolutely love it. My recommendation: If you love the design but want a more high-end look, paint the gold finish before installing it—and definitely before hanging all those crystals! Lumary does it again! I love these light bars. I have them above my hydrangeas on our back porch. It makes our home look so much more elegant. I've had this chandelier for a year now. It took a while to arrive and when it did it was in 5 huge and very heavy boxes. It was professionally installed by a 3 person crew over 13 hours. As the installation neared completion it was discovered that a piece to enclose a circular ring at the base of the chandelier was too small. I contacted customer service and it was a nightmare to get the correct piece that fit. They sent me the same too small piece twice. Finally I had to go to nearby chandelier retailer who was able to obtain the correct size crystal ring for the base closure, after thwt ev3rythibf was perfect. The finished product is absolutely breaktaking. It is a statement and a conversation piece. Everyone who walks into my home is blown away by it. I will say it was well work the hassel of the incorrect piece. The picture speaks for itself. I would absolutely recommend this product.
