When Spanish explorers set out on trade missions to Asia from the new world of North America, they stored the gold in large iron boxes which were further enforced with interlaced metal straps and large complex locking mechanisms. Opening these locks required three separate keys, held by three separate people. The metal bands featured on the galleon mirrors were inspired by an iron box in the collections of the museum of international folk art.

Extremely heavy. Suggest mounting on support structure. BEAUTIFUL piece. It's being placed to reflect opposing wall art/color. SWEET.. Dana. Carmel, IN. Mon Jun 08 2026

The dresser is really lovely and just as pictured. I also ordered (and am waiting to receive) the matching tall dresser and nightstands. My biggest frustration is with the delivery process which was canceled multiple times and required me calling many times until it finally arrived a week + later than expected. Not an easy process to navigate.. Claudia. Wemouth, MA. Tue May 12 2026

Box was intact and very heavy. Need two people to move. All parts were accounted for and located in a box inside. Many parts, so laying out and organizing will help. Directions are a little sketchy. No video qr to help either. Was able to assemble by myself. It did however take quite a bit of time due to quantity of drawers and directions. Nice quality, not higher end. Will work for now but dont think it will be a long lasting dresser.. Diane. Cumming, GA. Mon Sep 28 2026

Matches my night stands with the chest and my bed..all from wayfair even the sofa..the chest drawers are a bit narrow in the sense that it would be nice if they were deeper. I don't think measures are correct and if they are... trust me they are not deep enough....length is good though. I will be putting jewelry on the top ..bras on the 2nd drawer..under clothes on 3rd and 4th..keep it light.. Francisca. US. Fri Aug 28 2026

Silhouette is defined by bold contrasts, clean lines and a hint of Hollywood Regency glamour. The Silhouette tall drawer chest is in a class of its own. Glamorous, sleek and modern, it features an Eggshell wood finish accented by polished stainless steel beading and hardware. Interlocking octagonal pulls and delicate round tapered legs add feminine allure.

The piece is huge compared to how small the drawers are. There’s very little usable storage for its size. It takes up a lot of space without offering the storage I expected. Sadly, it wasn’t practical for my needs, so I returned it.. Angela. Hammonton, NJ. Mon Oct 26 2026
