Fortunately the color was beige as described and not yellow as the first picture looked. my previous Wayfair rug came rolled up and spread out nicely. Since we’re in the middle of remodeling after Helene, I cannot show this in the room. I had to make room to roll it out to check colors condition. It’s just what I needed as my hardwood is Brazilian cherry! I’m reusing the cornice with a floral comforter that was packed up when the insurance containment crew came … I happen to have a pillow from that comforter in a closet in room that wasn’t damaged. Beautiful design, so I'll keep it, but sad that it's not the lovely pale blue color as shown in any of the pictures on the website. If I had been shopping for that exact color, I would have been much more disappointed. This rug has more of a brownish blue in the background than the pale blue. I'm hoping it will fade over time. With that said, this rug is much more plush and thick than I expected for the price; the dogs love it! It's a great quality piece with an exquisite design that's perfect for drawing the eye to not only the rug, but the flooring around it, which was my goal for this space. I would definitely repurchase this rug again, in fact I’m considering looking for a round or oval one if they offer it, for my dining room. This rug is absolutely gorgeous, thick, and offers just the right amount of pattern and design without being overwhelming or busy like so many rugs out there. If you have cats that like to claw, they’ll likely pull up some threads, but will get bored of it eventually.
