These are really sturdy. The legs are wood but they have two metal square pieces that support the legs. Seats are super comfortable. I love the fabric on these stools. They haven’t had a stain on them yet, but plan to put scotchguard on them since they will be used a lot in the kitchen. My husband put them together fairly easy. For the price these are absolutely excellent, however there were a few dings right out of the box on the legs and with them being metal bases made to look like wood, it’s hard to disguise that.
