Folks, is a fantastic kettle! Solid enamel, sturdy handle and whistle, and the gradient Sea Salt finish is flawless. It pours very well provided you open the spout when pouring, and I only say this because too many people don’t actually know how to use a whistling tea kettle! I have seen too many reviews, saying it leaks all over when pouring because they’re trying to pour through the whistle opening rather than the kettle opening! Honestly, some people should not be allowed to write reviews if they don’t understand how to use the simplest of products!! My first kettle is 20 years old and I only bought a new one because I changed my kitchen color scheme. Over the years that kettle heated water on gas, electric, and wood stoves with never a problem . Central to Chantal’s New Scandinavian Collection is the 1.4 qt Sven teakettle. Clean lines and natural wood help create a design that is distinctly Northern European. The wood stays cool to the touch when boiling water and the light color beautifully accents the enamel finish of the teakettle’s body. Perfect for all cooktops, including magnetic induction.

I purchased the gray version of this tea kettle over five years ago. I was hesitant about spending so much on a tea kettle, but it’s attractive, has a significant whistle and does the job. A revolutionary and modern espresso machine that combines the coffee-perfecting technology developed by illycaffè and the design experience of Alessi. Designed by architectural visionary Michele de Lucchi, the Pulcina Espresso Coffee Maker encapsulates a small but substantial design innovation that stops dispensing the drink at the right time before the coffee gets a bitter aftertaste. This helps to enhance the full and rich aroma of your espresso. The spout, which recalls a chick's beak (hence the name of the coffee maker - "Pulcina " = "chick") allows it to perfectly stop the drop. The Alessi Pulcina is an inventive evolution of the traditional coffee pot.
