Nice, resin dish! It is, looks and feels like plastic, if you are wondering about that. The color is accurate in the description. It is a large saucer. Standard saucer mounts from my research are 4.5 inches. This works on 4.25 and has notches like threads to hold it in place. The birdbath is beautiful! However, it is very light weight. I had to fill it with water and use grounding stakes to hold it down…just happened to be a very windy day when I received it.
