Each baker measures 8 by 4 by 3.75 inches with a 14oz capacity, finished with side handles and a knob finial atop the fitted lid — clean trattoria lines drawn from southern Italian rustic kitchen tradition. The oval is the classic shape of Italian uova al tegamino, baked eggs in butter or olive oil with prosciutto, asparagus tips, shaved truffle, fresh tomato, or melted taleggio, served bubbling with crusty bread. The 14oz capacity also handles vegetable contorni — gratinéed cardoons, baked fennel, roasted radicchio with balsamic, eggplant caponata, broccoli rabe gratin.
