Terrific 100 percent cotton mattress protector! It fit like a glove and is padded with the softest cotton. It is difficult to find a mattress protector that is not made of some type of plastic. I understand people want the plastic to protect from spills. I did not want that. I simply wanted something more other than a thin sheet right against my new mattress. I was simply concerned about sweat going through the sheet and, over time, creating a mattress that may not be as "fresh." This mattress cover is the perfect solution! Well-sewn and crafted. And of course, Mayfair has super deals and this mattress protector was a super deal. You can't go wrong with this. My new mattress will always stay fresh now and for many years to come!. Stephanie. Great mattress pad! It came very well packaged in a condensed airtight container. We just purchased a new home and it sat in the garage waiting for me to arrive for several weeks – when opened smelled just as fresh as it would would’ve if I had opened it on day one. I was surprised when I opened it and realized just how thick the mattress pad was - was a bit of also a mattress topper. While I wondered if it was too thick, I figured I would try it prior to making any decisions. It was such a great additional padding. There are elastic bands to place underneath the mattress on all four corners which help helps keep it in place I was very happy with this purchase!. Brissettebeach. Naples, FL. Mon Jul 20 2026

We liked the mattress protector overall. I ordered them two one for my master queen bed and the other for my guest room bed. Overall the protector is really good and looks the same as it was shown in the image page. I tried pouring water and it got removed off easily without getting absorbed down the layer, which is what we would want for a waterproof for any accidental leakage!! We are using it now for since a week and were hoping we should have bought them earlier. It’s good in texture and I layer them with my fitted sheet and extra sheet on top of it!! Overall I am satisfied with my purchase!!!. Namita. Illinois. Wed Jul 29 2026

Not as thick as I had hoped, closer to a thick mattress cover. Not much different from a down blanket, really. Still, it’s a great deal for something that is great for your health due to it being hypoallergenic and good for your skin! It’s basically a nice topper for firming up a foam mattress, or adding a hypoallergenic layer overtop something that’s not rated as being very “green”. We first tried this over a firm latex pad, and it did not add much noticeable improvement in thickness or softness. Next, we tried this down pad over a 2 inch thick foam pad, and it made all the difference! I am not at all a fan of foam pads. However, using this topper over the foam pad makes the foam less susceptible to sinking! Love it! We are all finally comfortable, after a bit of experimenting and mixing layers to match our very specific and individually unique needs.. Julia. Earthship In The Mountains. Sat May 30 2026
