This futon is exactly as shown and is a great quality piece for the price. All the pieces were there in individually marked cardboard boxes and the boards were wrapped to keep them from being scuffed. Everything was well marked, along with clear illustrations. It was quite impressive compared to many products these days that you have to assemble.I like that the support boards were pre-strapped together. It took my husband and son about an hour, no issues. The (full)size is great for our small spare room. The mattress is very firm but thick is as noted by others and just the color it is shown. It sits slightly higher than the back of the frame but thats so that it will fit the entire surface when it is converted to a bed- and it doesnt affect the feeling when sitting on it. The one slightly negative thing I might mention is that this isnt a couch I would sit on for long periods as the back/bottom angle is noticeable if you have lower back issues. I search for a while for a bed frame that would fit in my sunroom and work with my hide a bed mattress. The hide a bed couch was old but mattress is fairly new. The cushions are vacuum-compressed for packaging. Before installation, please firmly pat the cushions to help the silk cotton quickly expand and fill the entire cushion. It usually takes 2-3 days for cushions to fully plump up to optimal state.

It is just the size I needed. I was surprised at how easily and quickly I put it together by myself. Only needed help setting it upright and moving it to the rug. Overall, I really like this sleeper sofa for my needs and tastes and will probably use it for years and years. Pros: Its firm which is my preference and what I was looking for. Minimal looking and minimal size wise. Very nice, super smooth wood frame. Open, armless style. I like the green corduroy fabric. Cons: The back rest cushions are probably more thick than they need to be. This causes a pretty shallow sitting length and your thighs will hang off the front most likely. The underside of the small pillows I received have a very differnet looking grippy section that I haven't found functional or tasteful. Super Comfortable Great Value! I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this memory foam futon mattress is. It expanded quickly after unpacking and had very little odor. The memory foam provides great support while still being soft enough for a comfortable night’s sleep. Whether it’s being used as a couch or a bed, it keeps its shape well and doesn’t feel lumpy or saggy. My guests have even commented on how comfortable it is!
