Powder Coated Lateral File Cabinet

This 2-drawer lateral filing cabinet offers a practical solution for organizing documents in a home office or professional workspace. It is made from steel and features a clean-lined silhouette that fits easily into various layouts. Two spacious drawers accommodate legal and letter-sized hanging files, while a built-in lock provides security for sensitive information. The top surface provides extra space for a printer or books to keep essentials within reach. It also includes an anti-tilt guard to help keep the unit stable when drawers are open.

Worked great in clients home office !!! Assembly was good- took the professional a few hours to complete. Nikki. Ankeny, IA. Tue Sep 15 2026

This 3 drawer lateral file cabinet gives you secure, space-saving home office storage without the tipping risk. Built from heavy-duty steel, it fits Letter, Legal, A4, and F4 files across three full-extension office drawers. The locking file cabinet design includes two keys that lock all drawers at once—perfect for keeping client contracts or personal documents private. An anti-tip interlock allows only one drawer to open at a time. Works great as a metal file cabinet for home offices or small businesses. Available in black or white.

Put together fairly quickly. Excellent!!!. Sheila. Leon, OK. Sun Oct 04 2026

Organize your office in style with this spacious, 63'' wide filing cabinet. Crafted from engineered wood and laminate, it showcases a neutral finish that will blend in with any office color scheme. Crisp lines, unobtrusive handles, and metal sled-style feet add a modern look to a traditional piece. Two lockable, soft-close drawers accommodate letter- and legal-size files, while two flanking cabinets have space and shelves for any other office supplies you might need. Plus, it's backed by a five-year commercial warranty.

Love this file cabinet, nice and clean. Aj. Liberty Township, OH. Thu Sep 10 2026

Paperwork builds up fastest wherever several people share a space, so this steel cabinet keeps a home office, studio, or reception desk organized without taking over the room. Recessed handles sit flush with the drawer fronts, so the unit slides into a tight aisle or under a counter without snagging sleeves or chair arms, while a powder-coated finish over welded steel wipes clean of fingerprints. Because it ships flat, one person can carry it up a stairwell and assemble it from the fittings packed in the carton. Anchoring hardware ties the loaded cabinet to a wall stud, keeping it steady on uneven floors and around children, and records stay upright and visible instead of piling up across a desk.

I’m really happy with this file cabinet! It was surprisingly easy to put together, and the instructions were clear and very easy to follow from start to finish. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and well made, especially for the price. The drawers open and close smoothly and provide plenty of space for keeping paperwork organized. I also really like that it has a locking option, which is great for storing important or personal documents. Overall, it looks nice, feels like good quality, and is a great addition to a home office. Definitely recommend!. Alicia A.. Texas. Mon Sep 07 2026

This 2-drawer lateral filing cabinet streamlines your office setup while keeping paperwork organized and out of sight. It's crafted from steel for a solid structure that stands up to daily use in your workspace. Full high-side drawers accommodate your files and folders, eliminating the need for separate hanging frameworks. Built-in ball-bearing glides let the deep drawers extend smoothly with minimal noise, making it easy to retrieve documents during busy workdays. A central lock operates across both tiers to keep sensitive materials secure when you're away from your desk. Plus, an integrated interlocking system opens only one drawer at a time to prevent tipping.

Love this blue filing cabinet! It came in excellent condition and holds a ton of files!. Ashley. Lincoln, NE. Sun Jun 20 2021

This 36 in. wide 2 drawer commercial grade lateral filing cabinet is designed for heavy duty use, yet looks great in any office. Interlock system prevents tipping by only allowing one drawer open at a time. Dual lock bars and core-removable lock come standard. I was hesitant to purchase this file cabinet because of some of the reviews that cited poor packaging and damage to the cabinet. I am happy to report that the two-drawer, silver cabinet (MADE in the USA and already assembled!!!) was delivered in perfect condition and after figuring out how and where to place the hanging folder frames (included in the file drawers) and the cross bars (purchased separately thru Wayfair and described as the Hirsch Lateral Front to Back Rail Kit), I REALLY glad that I decided to buy this file cabinet. I am using the drawers for front-to-back, LETTER-sized hanging files. Because of the width of the cabinet, I used 2 cross bars in each drawer, which leaves about 6"of extra space in each drawer. This space cannot be used to put LEGAL-sized hanging file because the hanging folder frames are too far apart because of the positioning used to accommodate the letter-sized front-to-back hanging files. This is not a problem for me and the positioning can always be changed, if desired. You could use legal-size hanging files from front-to-back and there would be no extra space on each side. The cabinet is very sturdy, but I am going to purchase a piece of clear plastic to put on the top of the cabinet to prevent scratches. You can definitely place something on the top because the steel is very strong. There are 2 front gliders that can be adjusted to level the cabinet. There are 2 keys to lock the cabinet, and I am happy to report I can keep them in the cabinet until ready to use because this is not a push-in lock (thank goodness); you must lock it with the key, so it cannot be accidentally locked with the keys inside (which happened to me with my kids and another file cabinet). Both drawers lock with the one lock. There are also 2 plastic, magnetic strips you can place on the front of drawers to identify the contents, which is a nice touch.. Darla Kenton. Chicago, IL.
