This bed is GORGEOUS in person. I wanted an upholstered bed, and i initially ordered anothe bed from anothe company, but was so disappointed after seeing it in person. Online photos make beds in the 200 range appear just like the beds in the 1000 range, but there is a huge difference when you see them in person. The fabric is textured and very high end. The bed fabric feels really luxurious. I also love the higher headboard which makes the bed feel like a 5-star hotel. Beautiful fabric, nice wood feet, and pretty solid construction. It is a very pretty and sturdy bedframe. I took a star off because they were not pre-drilled holes for some screws and that was unclear in the directions. It took me one hour and and and 45 minutes to put it together as one person. Also two of the side pieces were the same so I had to unscrew the brackets and switch them so they would become opposite side frames. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. Size Purchased: California King Overall very content with this purchase. I live alone so assembly was a bit difficult but I managed by myself (6'4" dude), but for most buyers I'd imagine it would take two people to handle it. During assembly very important to leave bolts at joints loose so that they can be wiggled into tight fighting place at final stages. Prior to laying down the mattress on top, the smaller composite wood legs in the middle of the frame did not touch flush with the ground.
