This bench was exactly what I was looking for. The color was as shown in the pictures. It is a beautiful, deep mahogany with no scratches, cracks or other issues. It is a good size for my entryway — not too big as to overpower the hall but big enough for two to sit comfortably. Very sturdy. I put it together on my own in less than two hours. I like the look of the red mahogany, but the plugs they include to cover the bolt holes look so much worse than the empty holes, their color doesn't match at all. Surprisingly, easier to put together than I anticipated. Really solid.
