I’m extremely pleased with this dining table and chair set. The combination of the distressed white finish and warm wood tabletop gives it a timeless farmhouse look that fits perfectly with my home. The table feels sturdy and well-built, and the chairs are comfortable enough for everyday meals, homework, and family game nights. Assembly was straightforward, and everything arrived in great condition. The finish has held up well to daily use, and it’s easy to wipe clean after meals. It comfortably seats my family while still fitting nicely in the space without feeling oversized. The Prestow uses a simple butterfly mechanism - gently pull on either end of the table to 'open' the sliding mechanism and reveal the extension piece concealed under the top. Lift and unfold the extension piece to create the additional length. Why not pair these with any of our matching wooden cross back chairs for a sleek look? Available in either white and gray, cream and oak or oak. This product is real wood and so it will age, which can result in colour variations.

Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. These chairs look really good, and have this mcm feel, exactly what I was looking for. I will say that they were a big tricky to build, the bolts didn’t align well. Gorgeous table. This is the 79 inch length in natural wood. The table top is one solid piece so there are no lines or seams visible. It comfortably holds 4 small chairs but can seat up to 6. (Note It depends on the type of chairs you pair with the table. The bulkier they are the less likely you can fit more than 4.)You can sit at the end of the table which was a concern as a lot double pedestal designs don’t leave enough space. (image attached of our chair at the end). The legs of the table arrived slightly damaged but we are not sure if it was during wayfair’s assembly or from the manufacturer. I had very specific criteria I was looking for in an everyday table. I wanted a pedestal base, an oval or round top with a leaf, cream/off-white with a dark wood top. it either had to match my existing chairs or have chairs without fabric. I also had a budget in mind. I know I'm extremely picky. I have been looking on and off for the right table for almost 4 years. Even after I order the table I texted my husband and said I'm probably going to hate it. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived unexpectedly early on Saturday morning and we put it together easily. 2 bolts per foot and 4 bolts for the top. nothing was damaged in shipping and the table is an almost perfect match to the existing pieces in the room. The base is a little more on the white/gray side then cream but in the shade of the table its not noticeable. We will most likely always have the leaf in but the mechanism worked fine and everything fit together well and it feels sturdy.
