Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin. So far, I am very happy with the unit.. Walt. MI. Mon Oct 21 2024

The VH240 whole room heater is an effective way to reduce energy costs. This whole room heater has a thermostatic temperature control knob. Select your desired heat setting with a simple turn of the dial. Vornado’s signature Vortex Whole Room Heat Circulation then distributes the warm air throughout the room. Unlike typical heaters whose hot coils create areas of extreme heat directly around the heater, the VH240 outputs a steady current of heat that envelopes the room in comfortable warmth. This heater is whisper-quiet, and employs advanced safety features to provide worry-free use. A tip-over switch automatically cuts the heat and power to the unit if tipped over. With Vornado’s unique design, the VH240 outer casing remains cool enough to touch, even after hours of extended operation. The VH240 is backed by a 5-year limited warranty for season after season of worry-free warmth

The Dr. Infrared Heater greenhouse heater is designed to tender precious plants. We understand space is very important in smaller greenhouses, therefore, our heater will take zero floor space. The big difference between conventional greenhouse heaters is efficiency. Conventional fan force heater will circulate and heat up the whole room with the majority of the heat lost through walls, floor, and ceiling. The infrared greenhouse heater will apply warmth directly to the plants with very minimal heat lost through the walls. Effectively, infrared heaters are more efficient at applying heat to plants. Our greenhouse heater can be mounted on the wall, or ceiling, or even hang down from the ceiling with the provided chains and accessories. Dr. Heater is designed with a plug-and-play thermal cord that will sense the temperature close to the plant and feedback to the heater for auto temperature control. The heater can be operated in Smart mode - auto-regulate the temperature, or manual mode - with full control by the user. All Dr. Heater products are designed in the USA and are listed by nationally recognized safety laboratories such as UL and ETL.

Winter is here and the garage needs to be cleaned- but it’s so cold- well, problem solved! This wall mount-able heater is exactly the right thing for the job! I set it up on a shelf about 30 minutes before starting, and it really took the chill out of the air. After working 20 minutes with it still running I had to shut it off, I was getting too warm! I am planning to make a wood stand to mount it on, so it will be more portable and allow me to use it in different places as needed- like my covered patio and storage shed. The timer function on the remote is great too. I have been known to leave things on all night, so setting a timer definitely prevents that. Super pleased with this item, and I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner now!! Update, we built the stand- and my puppies love the little warming area by the back door now!. Shawnda. Some flaws in the design. Power cord is way too short and the manual was incredibly poorly written. Instructions to set up and use were terrible but they made sure to state that extension cords should not be used which makes this unit unusable- since their cord is way too short once placed into the stand. Hence it can’t be plugged into a wall socket.. C. New Westminster, BC. Wed Oct 29 2025
