There was an internal part that was broken. Ensure if purchasing this item, remove all adapters etc to inspect every available part. The water inlet piece was broken but not discovered until it was installed and found to leak as there was an adapter on it that we had no reason to remove until it leaked. Wayfairs warranty period was already expired but the manufacturer stayed in contact with us and sent out a replacement heater resolving our issue. Looking forward to many months of swimming! This complete above-ground pool set is easy to set up and thanks to the rust-resistant steel frame and heavy-duty PVC and polyester 3-ply side walls, you know it'll last for years to come. As easy as it is to set up, taking it down at the end of the season is just as easy. You can rest easy knowing your lawn isn't in danger. The drain valve attaches to a garden hose so you can drain the water away from the pool. Hook the surface skimmer over the wall of the pool, right near its suction inlet. Right after it attaches to the filter pump it will start cleaning away. It has an adjustable mounting bracket so it can moved to be match the pool surface's water line. Empty the skimmer when it gets full and clean as needed. The skimmer is made of corrosion-proof material, so it can handle even the toughest pool chemicals.

Absolutely perfect. We bought this little pool because our 6 year old great grandson will be spending a lot of time with us over the summer. This pool was easy to set up and the features (like the filter) make it just perfect. We did buy a cover for it so the heat generated by the sun keeps the water at around 75 degrees.
