It’s very heavy solid wood and it looks pretty. There are only two reasons I gave 4 stars instead of 5 first, the inside of this table was filthy. See picture of the paper towel after wiping it up. Not sure how it got so dirty Second, the top drawer is ever so slightly not level. It’s nothing most people would notice but I have an eye for that kind of thing so I can see the slight imperfection. I received this 3 drawer nightstand from Wayfair. I had received a 7 drawer dresser previously and was trying to match up the wood color this is a very nice bedside table with a faux marble top so you don’t have to worry about damaging the wood with drinks It has 3 drawers so there is quite a large amount of storage. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge with trying to tell which side went were and my husband got things backwards I wish instructions were clearer a lot of times you just looking at a diagram that doesn’t always make since.
