The floating shelf looks exactly like the pictures—10/10! It's beautiful, sturdy, and looks great once it's installed. The instructions said there were 14 steps, but it definitely felt like there were a lot more. Even so, one person was able to put it together, although it took a little over 3 hours. The drawers were a bit finicky to get aligned, but with some patience we were able to get them working properly in the end. WOW!!! This is definitely a piece that makes a statement. And what was exactly what we wanted to complete the vibe in our bar. A few notes to anyone on the fence.....it arrived much sooner than we anticipated. Projected delivery was the end of June and it arrived mid-May. It was well packaged in a wooden crate around a box. Delivery drivers were fantastic and efficient in dropping the crate exactly where we wanted it. It is impressive how sturdy it is. I anticipated some flexing or movement when not on the wallbbecause it is so large, but it is solid. Lights do not come with this piece as the description notes, however, they are quite affordable at any home improvement store and it took literally 15 minutes to get the lights where we wanted them. Installation was smooth with two strong guys. And we are so impressed with the results. Still need to organize bottles, etc....but this gives you a good idea of how this piece can be used. It is not an issue with us because we are simply in love with this piece, but worth noting, that some bottles may be too tall. Quality construction and well built. The drawers are actually drop down doors and there is only 3 on the shorter version that I purchased not 4 as stated in description. I’m actually liking the drop down doors better than drawers as it maximizing space inside a small compartment and the door hinges and soft close hardware are quality upgrades. Fully assembled was exactly that … open the box and hang the unit. Well packaged with plenty of protection from the rigors of shipping … and they got it out for delivery in very short order.
