This twin over twin bunk bed with storage stairs is very sturdy and good quality, it was also easy to assemble as instructions were clear. I will say having two people help cuts down build time significantly. The LED lights for the bottom bunk change colors which is a nice add-on and the charging port is movable so I added it to the closest socket. Just make sure to not add it or put baby proofing on it if you have children under 3 in the home for safety reason as it is a loft bed and easily accessible. Took my husband a few days to assemble ( solid 6 hours total with breaks) to put together by himself. My two boys love their new bunk bed. Top bunk mattress is a Wayfair mattress 5 inches. Seems very sturdy but can shake a little like most metal frames. My husband plans on checking the bolts every week. I also used Bunkie Boards on the slats to spread the weight, minimize further squeaking/sounds and protect the mattresses. They can't wait to decorate it with different stuff. No regrets so far..
