This is newly installed so I'm hoping it's durable. It's really pretty and works well with the lights pointing upward too. Just an FYI that we have a small bathroom and this throws off a lot of light. I'm glad we have it on a dimmer switch to dial it back when it's too much because we also have overhead recessed lights..
