A lot of the reviews said they were hard to assemble so I paid for the Wayfair assembler and they came out great. We got 3 of these for our back porch and there are very comfortable. They are also pretty heavy chairs. The plastic handle on the side that you pull to recline feels cheap, but other than that they look exactly like the photos in the listing.. Laura. Sugar Land, TX. Real wood, smells great like that cedar bark smell. Runs a tiny bit small, as I am short and my legs go basically to the end and my head is right at the top. I also am not sure it will hold up to huge people jumping on it or anything, but that's wood planks for ya. Assembly was quite easy, hardly needed the instructions. Torqued the bolts but am expecting to possibly lightly sand and/or stain it later to protect the wood, and possibly add wd-40 to some of the moving parts and lock tite to the bolts.. Alexander.
