The desk arrived late and the electric parts didn’t work. The customer service agent talked in circles trying to insist on my accepting replacement parts with no partial refund. I’m not giving giving my free labor for something that arrived late and dysfunctional. After about an hour of the run around they finally agreed to send the parts and give a partial refund for all the trouble. They could’ve just offered that to begin with. I’m now waiting for the parts. The desk itself looks great. Feels solid. Was a reasonable cost. If the replacement parts actually work, it will be a great desk. I finally received my workbench, after a year of searching I found the one that fit all my needs. When I came across this workbench. I doubled checked my measurements, (even when it factory was wrong with the measurements and it was 72” wide instead of 68”) and I saw in the specifications that ASSEMBLY was REQUIRED I was pleased because the only way I could get it into my basement was that I had to assemble it myself. So when the workbench was delivered. To my surprise and I was feeling completely duped, the body of the workbench including the drawers came already ASSEMBLED. The apron, legs, single shelf, the top, and the hardware were separate. I was in a panic that I wouldn’t be able to get it in my basement. After calling Wayfair. They told me that the drawers could be removed which 4 of them were easy pull out drawers but the other 5 I had to remove the screws from the sides to remove them. With the drawers out it still was not an easy task getting it through the doorways; to the back of my house. To have friends carry it down my areaway into the basement. Sturdy, solidly built table. A small design item needs to be adjusted. The holes for the bolts for the wheels have to has to be moved away from the sliding door rail about 3 or 4 millimeters. Right now the bolt from the wheel keeps the inside sliding door from closing or closing smoothly. It would also be nice to have the option of shelves on the left side of the storage cabinet. The table is perfect for my purposes and was fairly easy to put together with two people. The drawers come preinstalled to the table top, which is nice, but you would think they would be space properly. They’re don’t slide as well as I would like them too.
