Low Profile Steel Bed

Very sturdy and easy to assemble not enough room under for storage though. Anna. Chatham, NJ. Mon Oct 05 2026

Looks like a very solid box spring. Used it to replace a 7 inch box spring which made the bed too tall.. Anonymous. Sturgeon Bay, WI. Wed Oct 07 2026

I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. The only draw back is that over time the mattress shifts one or two inches on the frame; however it is very easy to shift the mattress back so it aligns with the headboard.. Edisa. NY. This heavy-duty, sturdy mattress foundation is designed for strength and style. Perfect for higher-profile mattresses or those preferring a modern style. The extra-strength steel framed mattress foundation features wooden slats that provide strong support for your memory foam, latex, or spring mattress. The non-slip tape prevents movement of the box spring or your mattress on the wood slats.

Perfect. Still organizing the area. I own a few platform beds with wooden slats and theyve always been great. Easy to put together and sturdy. Needed a short frame for our loft in our park model home. The mattress is 8 inches.. Diana. Mercedes, TX. Sat Sep 19 2026

Heavy, sturdy, and squeak free! A great value.. Tracey. Atlanta, GA. Mon Aug 10 2026

Create a relaxed, casual retreat in your bedroom with the Mendon bed frame. Crafted from solid rubberwood, the Mendon features a classic walnut brown finish that complements any color palette. Its low platform and angled, tapered legs are reminiscent of cool, mid-century modern design. Add some crisp white sheets and a plush duvet to complete the look. This bed includes wood slats, which eliminate the need for a box spring.

Shown are the dimensions for the full size bed frame. Without the legs, the width is 56 ⅝ inches, with the legs the width is 58 inches. Under the bed is a hair over 10 inches. Not pictured, but the length was 76 to 76 ½ inches. The quality is a solid 4 out of 5. For the price I paid, under 300, I felt like I got what I paid for. There are some tiny imperfections on the frame, and some moderate imperfections on the plywood slats and support legs. But I dont feel like its going to snap on me or anything. Its a sturdy bed frame, very attractive. The height is perfect for me, gives me a bit of storage room underneath without making the bed too high. The frame wood is a good walnut color, fairly evenly stained with natural appeal. The rounded edges are great, no stabbing my shins. The legs are on the outside, but the gap at the headboard means it doesnt run up against my baseboards. Overall I would recommend the bed! Assembly was fairly easy. I managed it on my own, but it would be easier with two. The only issue with the bed is the freaking wood screws. It comes with an allen key, which every other part of the assembly uses, but every other slat is supposed to be secured with wood screws (the other half are with allen wrench bolts). This feels like seriously cheaping out. The wood screws are probably fine with any sort of drill, but I only own manual screwdrivers and couldnt manage to drive them into the frame. The screws are meant to screw into the hardwood frame which is very difficult by hand. I ended up giving up and just putting tiny felt squares under that half of the slats, to prevent noise. When I get a drill Ill add them in.. Liam. Michigan. Fri Oct 02 2026

This minimalist bed frame brings a sleek modern look to your bedroom. Made from metal with a black finish, it has an airy, open-frame design that leaves 14" of under-bed space for shoes or storage boxes. This platform bed has pre-drilled holes, so you have the option to attach a headboard. The included slats are held in place with hook and loop fasteners and support the mattress of your choice. No box spring is required; a mattress and headboard are sold separately.

Sleek steel and sustainable bamboo come together in this platform bed to bring you the best of contemporary craftsmanship. A solid bamboo headboard highlights the wood’s natural grain, perfectly paired with a black metal frame for a modern, balanced look. Designed for both style and durability, bamboo offers an easy-to-maintain surface, while the sturdy steel base provides reliable support. Wide, closely spaced wooden slats create a stable foundation for any mattress without the need for a box spring, and non-slip tape helps reduce movement and noise. Thoughtfully packed with all the tools and instructions for quick assembly, this bed is built for effortless setup and lasting appeal.

This bed was phenomenally easy to assemble, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I really liked how this bed came with a ratcheted Allen key wrench and a regular Allen key, and I really appreciated that the hardware came in already organized for you in a cardboard blister, so you didn't have to dig around for it in a bag. Instructions were really straightforward and easy to follow, and they also linked a YouTube tutorial to make things easier in case if the graphics were not clear enough. The only major downside is that the under-bed clearance is less than 5", which can limit your storage space, but if you prefer your bed low to the ground, then this bed frame is perfect! If I had to nitpick, then I'd say that the wood parts of the bed have this very strong "new cabinet" smell, but I'm sure that will resolve itself over time. In conclusion, this bed has pretty great value to it because the build experience was very pleasant, the bed looks beautiful, and it's very budget friendly! Would definitely recommend, especially if you get it on sale :). Tim. CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

Anchor your mattress in your master suite or guest room with this low-profile bed frame.
