Item is very well made. The description does not give a weight limitation, my dog weighs 9.5 pounds, she is a long bodied dog and fits into the pounch just fine. It is comfortable to wear, it did not bother my back which was my worry and she adapted quickly to being in it. She does llike to be carried around though. I got this because I've tried numerous things that have not worked to calm her during her episode's of fear from storms, gunshots & fireworks. It actually did a great job. It stopped her shaking almost immediately and kept her from getting so nervous and worked up. When she gets like that it's very hard to calm her. So for that reason alone I give it a 5 star!!! I liked that this was lower to the ground in case my dog somehow jumped out. This was easy to assemble and I like that it folds down so easily. It has a nice clip to keep the dog in and prevent it from jumping out. My dog is at the max weight capacity and is 40lbs. I am worried this won’t last long. I think it’s more suitable for 25-30lbs. The wheels are smaller and I had a hard time with the uneven sidewalk. I think with less weight in the stroller it would have been fine. I’m 5’4 and the handle is low! I love the versatility of this cat carrier! It arrived flat but in no time I was able to pop out all the compartments and let my cats check it out. No instructions but I didn't really need them. It will work well as a cat carrier but could be great for longer road trips, where you still want you cat to be secured but have a little more room to stretch out. My 9lb cat fits better than my 14lb cat, but it'll still work for both of them. The sherpa lining is super plush and there are tons of compartments. I can't imagine using them all, but good to have. The package arrived a little worse for the trip. Was sent flat in just an envelope packing. The zippers were hard to get started on the sides due to the curve of the bag. There is the front window and 2 smaller ones on the sides but they have flaps so you have to roll them up for your pet to see out.,No stabilizing strap across the chest area so is a little off balance and could come off easily if the pet moves around a lot.
