Lifetime Portable Basketball

Searching for a tough, adjustable basketball system? Our 54-inch in-ground hoop is an ideal solution for your outdoor space. The shatter-resistant polycarbonate backboard paired with an aluminum frame stands firm against harsh weather and daily use. You can freely adjust and fix the height between 7.5 feet and 10 feet via the hand crank design, catering to players of all ages. The 18-inch solid steel rim features great elasticity, keeping its original shape permanently.

We bought this after having a portable one that was damaged after the first minor windstorm. This hoop is so heavy duty. The bolts and nuts are massive and it weighs a ton. It was actually pretty easy to put it together and they provided the wrenches. I put it together myself as a 42 year old woman. However it will take a couple of people to mount it into your ground. They also provide extremely large and heavy anchors. We have not yet poured our basketball court pad so we haven’t done that part yet. I also didn’t add the net yet as it’s fall and rainy and I don’t want to wear it out. Overall, the price of this is amazing for such a massive and sturdy hoop. It should last a long time. Victoria. This was fairly easy to assemble. It took me about four hours with some help. All the parts were in the box and everything fit very well. It does help to have two sawhorses to put it up onto work on it and to have a second person to help hold the item in certain positions so you can move metal pieces to get holes aligned to put the bolts in. Otherwise it went together very smooth and is very solid and my kids love it.. Pcswi. Cedarburg, WI. Fri Jul 31 2026

This basketball hoop is solid once it’s finally put together, but getting there was definitely a challenge. I had to take pieces apart and reassemble them several times because the directions weren’t the easiest to follow. It’s a heavy setup and truly a two‑person job, even though I pushed through it myself. But once it was up My kids absolutely love it. They’re obsessed with how well built it feels, and they especially love how easy it is to adjust the height. Now that it’s assembled, it’s sturdy, strong, and exactly what we hoped for. Imagine weekend afternoons in the backyard—twist the smooth handle to tweak the height for your kids, sink shots as the weighted base stays solid (no annoying wobble like cheaper options). Your teen brings friends over for quick matches, the thickened backboard handling dunks without bending; glide it to the patio solo when you want a change of spot (sturdy wheels most picks skimp on). Assemble with your family in under an hour (no confusing steps or missing pieces!)—laugh, compete, and make memories that feel far nicer than typical basketball hoops can offer.

This height-adjustable basketball hoop (5.73ft–10ft) suits all ages, offering customizable play for kids and adults. The sturdy, sand/water-fillable base ensures stability, while the 44" shatterproof backboard delivers pro-level rebounds. Portable with wheels, it moves easily for indoor or outdoor use—perfect for driveways, backyards, or gyms. Features an 18" rim, 38" base, and vibrant colors for enhanced visibility. Simple assembly with included instructions.

Be aware that this goal does not have a height adjustment mechanism that allows you to raise or lower the hoop with just one hand. In order to adjust from lowest to highest setting one must remove four bolts, the axle, wheels, and the bottom post and reassemble the three poles in a different order. I did it about 10 minutes with two other people helping to lift the backboard. Bottom line this goal is best for setting at one height and adjusting as the child grows. It is verysturdy with no bounce or movement when the ball hits it.. Anonymous. Mon Nov 10 2025
