This is so pretty! I’m doing a kitchen refresh and decided this would look great on the stovetop between the green cabinets with the off white tiles (not yet installed). The whistle is annoyingly loud, so you will hear it no matter where you are. You do have to flip the spout cover up independently of the handle I don’t mind, but you might. I own this in dark purple and loved it so much I bought one for my brother in orange. I’ve had mine for 5 years, absolutely zero chipping in the enamel or paint. Under the lid has little bumps to consolidate the steam as it builds up inside the pot and drips the water back into the pot rather than running water down the outside of the pot (which one of my Le Cruesets do).
