Our virgin polystyrene beans are 100% recyclable. Each bag contains 100 liters of rejuvenating beans. The number of beans you need will depend on the size of your chair and how flat it is: small chairs may need 1-2 bags, while giant chairs may require more. For child safety and durability reasons, all big Joe bean-filled chairs have two zippers with their pulls intentionally removed before shipment. To open your big Joe, place a paperclip into the first zipper head, pull to open, and then repeat on the second zipper. This chair is HUGE! I thought this was going to be a kids size bean bag chair, it’s big. Both of my granddaughters can sit in this chair. It’s very soft but heavy. It’s not the old school bean bag chair which were light and fluffy. It feels similar to pieces of memory foam. Took two of us to get it upstairs in a room. I like it but definitely takes up space.
