Crafted from smooth ceramic, the base adds a classic, rounded element to your decor while taking up minimal space on a nightstand or desk. The empire shade directs light both upward and downward, making it a functional choice for reading or creating a warm ambient atmosphere. An inline rocker switch on the cord provides effortless everyday control. Plus, its clear cord seamlessly blends in against your walls or furniture.

Lovely little lamp that came as described and as I expected. Only downsides are some slight inconsistencies in the pattern of the woven shade, and I need to buy a shorter light bulb so it doesn't poke out over the top of the shade, but I expected both of those things based on other people's reviews and photos!.
