I prefer porcelain dinnerware because it is lighter weight than stoneware and doesn’t get hot in the microwave. I love these dishes. They’re heavy. The glazing is beautiful. And I love the little pedestal on the bowls. I didn’t get the mugs because I don’t need mugs.
