This is perfect for our rental unit, for the dining room. The tenants do not like the hanging dining light we put in there and have put an ugly black flush mount in its place. This light is bright and perfect for my kitchen. I used 3 100 watt for my medium sized kitchen. Some other fixtures weren't bright enough or casted shadows on the ceiling. Since the light hangs down a bit, it lights up the ceiling and the frosted glass creates a bright soft light without hard shadows. The brushed nickel goes well with my stainless appliances. The simple style is nice and would fit any room, I think, and you can use different watt bulbs for the brightness. I would buy this again.. Nicole. IL. Sun Sep 08 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a better brighter light for my dining room as opposed to what came already installed. I received this light and love it. It fits my decor and the lighting is really bright. Love the chrome color. It wasn't super heavy, yet it was sturdy. Thanks to my boyfriend for having handy hands and being able to easily install it. It came in a sturdy box, but it would've been better to have FRAGILE all over the box and extra padding just in case due to the unpredictable shipping handlers. Overall, I really liked the fixture and would put it all over my house when I could.. Purplebutterfly613. New Jersey. Tue Mar 03 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light fixtures is very similar to our old rusted one, although it’s quite a bit larger than I expected. Installation was super easy, with the hardest part being figuring out the right length for the chain. Thanks to the removable links, it was easy to adjust. I love the lantern style, and the two oblong lightbulbs, give it a sleek, modern look. I also really like the combination of the straight lines and edges with the rounded, slanted top. My only pet peeve, and I’ve had this issue with almost every other ceiling light, is that flies are drawn to the light and end up stuck to the inside of the glass, making it difficult to clean.. Sabrinam. Wed Jul 29 2026

The semi flush features a classic look and satin etched cased opal and clear glass accent glass. The Joelson semi flush is retro inspired and is perfect in several aesthetic environments, including traditional and modern.

Nice looking fixtures. The glass shade is nice and heavy. The light doesn't come through as "white" as I'd like, and I think that's due to the thickness of the glass. I used the GE Reveal HD bulbs to get the true wall color, but it still came out a little warmish after I put the shade over them. I ordered two of these fixtures. One was great, but the second one had small gaps that the light showed through in several places between the shade and the metal ring at the top. No matter how we turned the shade, there was still gapping. We also tried bending the metal ring a little, but it didn't help. We already had it hung before we realized it, or I would've probably returned it for another, but we were able to turn it around to where it didn't show up until you walked behind it, so I decided to just keep it. Just check that before you hang it.. Anonymous. Tennessee. Tue Feb 14 2023
